MaxKnowledge and CCST Launch New Online Course: Compliance Training for Texas School Directors

Austin, TX, October 7, 2009 - MaxKnowledge and Career Colleges & Schools of Texas (CCST) unveiled today a new online training course at the CCST 2009 Annual Conference.

Compliance Training for Texas School Directors
This course provides School Directors in the state of Texas a working knowledge of the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Rules and Regulations for Career Schools and Colleges. The course covers all aspects of what a School Director is expected to know in operating a school on a day-to-day basis. The how and why details in the areas of Admissions, Administration, Financial Aid, Education and Placement are covered in a user-friendly, multi-sensory environment that allows the participants to test themselves on compliance issues that are faced on a daily basis.

This course has been created from the TWC's School Director's Resource Guide for Career Schools and Colleges. Thanks to TWC's curriculum writers, content specialists and sponsors for the creation of the excellent guide that provided the core content for this course. Also, thanks to CCST for providing the additional content for the interactive features and assessment components of the course. Special thanks to CCST board members Robert Doty (Remington College), Jeanne Martin (Career Quest), Gerald Parr (Concorde Career Institute), and Skip Walls (Remington College) for their outstanding work on this course. Finally, thanks to CCST board member, Frank Hammack (ATI Enterprises), former TWC employee, for agreeing to facilitate this course.

The online course is delivered in an asynchronous fashion and participants receive 4 hours of continuing education credit upon successful completion of the training. The course is available on a continuous enrollment basis on the CCST Online Training Center. For more information, visit:
