Keiser University Forms Articulation Agreement with MaxKnowledge, Inc.

Orlando, FL, June 5, 2013 - Today, at the APSCU 2013 Annual Convention and Expo, Keiser University, Florida's second largest independent university, announced that they have formed an articulation agreement with MaxKnowledge, Inc., a leading employee training provider for private sector colleges and universities. The articulation agreement will allow MaxKnowledge training participants who have met certain requirements to transfer up to six semester credits toward a Master of Science Degree in Education (MSEd) offered online at Keiser University.

Recently, the National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools (NASASPS) and MaxKnowledge announced a series of Excellence Programs and professional certification paths for career college professionals. The Certified Higher Education Professional (CHEP) credential, awarded by NASASPS, was created to recognize individuals who strive for excellence and to enable institutions to develop high performing, compliant, and ethical employees to better serve students. Keiser University will be awarding academic credits for the completion of up to two Excellence Programs and the resulting CHEP certifications. Additionally, Excellence Program graduates, who have earned the CHEP credential, will be eligible for the MaxKnowledge Twenty-Five Percent Tuition Scholarship for the MSEd program.

"Keiser is very pleased to partner with MaxKnowledge to further recognize the achievements of career college professionals who have earned the CHEP credential," said Dr. Jim Hutton, Director of the Keiser University Center for Career Education and Leadership (KUCCEL). The U.S. Department of Education is encouraging innovative approaches to education to incorporate competency-based learning, reduce student costs, and shorten degree completion times. The agreement between Keiser University and MaxKnowledge reflects an effort to accomplish these objectives for our MSEd programs, while adhering to accreditation standards and quality education delivery. It's a win-win relationship of which we are proud and we hope more institutions follow Keiser's example.

"We are honored to partner with an institution of Keiser University's caliber," said Dr. Amir Moghadam, President and CEO of MaxKnowledge, Inc. "This agreement illustrates Keiser's visionary leadership to advance career education and global workforce development. Career college professionals will now be able to take advantage of their completed training at MaxKnowledge and their NASASPS certification toward a Master's degree program at Keiser."
