NASASPS and MaxKnowledge Launch Online Compliance Training On Program Integrity Rules

Dallas, TX, June 6, 2011, APSCU Annual Convention & Expo - The National Association of State Administrators and Supervisors of Private Schools (NASASPS) and MaxKnowledge launch an online training course to help career colleges and universities comply with the Department of Education's Program Integrity Rules.

Designed for employees of all roles and levels at private sector institutions, the online course focuses on aspects of the Program Integrity Rules that address compliant communications with students. Emphasis is placed on areas of misrepresentation related to advertising and recruitment activities, interactions with prospective students and appropriate communication of disclosures and other publications.

The course covers the requirements which must be adhered to in order to maintain good standing with both state and federal regulations, and provides an awareness of prohibited acts which could adversely impact operations. Course participants can select specific state(s) to customize the training content to their needs.

"This is a unique course that provides compliance training for all employees at career education institutions. All school personnel, including administrators, staff and faculty are in communication with students and must be aware of the relevant rules and regulations," said John Ware, President of NASASPS.

"It's not enough to simply share the regulations with the employees and ask them to comply. Employees need to learn and understand the regulations with the goal of providing the best possible service to students," said Dr. Amir Moghadam, President and CEO of MaxKnowledge. "In collaboration with NASASPS and career college leaders, MaxKnowledge has developed this interactive online course to provide effective compliance training in a positive and enjoyable context."

CM102 Raising the Bar - Compliant Communications with Students is available on the NASASPS Online Training Center (www.nasaspstraining.org) as well as other training portals powered by MaxKnowledge. The training can also be delivered as a private course for larger institutions.
