ED110 - Time & Stress Management for Instructors

Facilitator: Dr. Melissa Read

Outstanding teachers serve their students by guiding them through their coursework and motivating them to complete program requirements. Career college instructors are often faced with high stress resulting from heavy teaching loads and limited time. When teachers cannot manage their own time and stress, they cannot fully serve the needs of their students. This course will show career college instructors how to manage time and stress in their lives and teach some of these skills to their students.

Testimonials:

The course offered some good ideas, and the feedback part was great. I've started using some of the material in class now and it has already started to help me.

At first I was slightly intimidated by taking and online course, but you made it very easy and enjoyable. I will no longer be afraid to take an online course.

I enjoyed learning new approaches and being reintroduced to those I've forgotten about. It's encouraging to know that there are so many career instructors who are faced with the same or similar stress factors. Knowing you're not the only one going through it makes the journey easier to travel.

I really enjoyed this course. I appreciate all your effort and hard work. I feel this will help me and the people I work with. Thank you for offering your class and I hope to do more online classes.
