- Describe the importance of your web site as a lead generation tool.
- Identify the part web site design plays in converting a visitor to a lead.
- Determine what (text) content needs to be added to your web site and why.
- Distinguish the connection between search engine visibility and your web site design.
Module 2: Search Engine Optimization
- Assess the importance of search engine submissions.
- Define what link building is and determine why you should be doing it.
- Describe the purpose of the Meta Tags on your web site.
- Identify the main elements involving search engine optimization and your web site.
Module 3: Online Advertising Vehicles
- Define PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising and describe how to use it.
- Utilize paid advertising vehicles, paid placement, banner and text ads.
- Define permission marketing - finding your way through the CAN-SPAM act.
- Recognize how to track and manage your online marketing campaigns.
Module 4: Affiliate Marketing
- Define affiliate marketing.
- Choose the right affiliate network.
- Describe the pros and cons of limiting your affiliates.
- Determine what support will be needed for affiliate campaigns.
